Dungeon Master Workshop

Incorporating Player Input in Table-Top RPGs

Course overview

As the Game Master, you are in charge of creating the setting, the characters and the story as well as presenting all that content in an engaging fashion and adjudicating the action. At first it can seem overwhelming to run a game! Luckily, table-top RPGs are best when everyone helps with creating the story. Intentionally and accidentally, the players often come up with the most exciting twists and most interesting content.

This lesson will cover three strategies to foster more player engagement and make your player’s decisions more meaningful in your table-top RPG game.
